The first article I read by Joe Nocera was about Boeing, and I took an instant dislike to him. The first article I read by Joe Nocera was about Boeing, and I took an instant dislike to him. Not that Boeing doesn't have a bloody lot of problems, but Nocera seemed to have BDS - Boeing derangement syndrome, and a hatred of big business in general. Gradually I came to realize that he's an excellent and thoughtful writer. (Though I still don't give him a pass on that Boing article.) As someone who is also pro-immigration, I hope he will write more on that topic. We need immigrants! We are desperately short of engineers, doctors, and other high-skilled professionals. But we should let in anyone who wants to work. If someone is willing to do a job for less, that leads to lower prices and benefits the economy overall. There is no divine right of stagnation, as Ayn Rand put it. You don't get to have your wage protected just because you were born here. To those who defend Trump by pointing out the transgressions of the left, none of the egregious behavior of the Democrats in any way mitigates the behavior of Donald Trump on January 6th. Trump is a would be dictator who doesn't adhere to, or even understand the constitution, or respect individual rights. Anyway, thanks, Mr. Nocera. I look forward to reading more from you! (p.s. I'm the great-grand-daughter of Italian immigrants who landed at Ellis Island in 1905.)

Just out of curiousity, can you please explain what Trump did on J6 and his lack of understanding of the Constitution.
Honest question.
Another person with TDS. Sad.
You mean to tell me, they didn't sneak across the border illegally?
