Once I volunteereed to assist with the production an environmental parade. I asked the organizer what they were protesting and why it was importand, and she didn't know. So I didn't go back.
We've been seeing record weather events that exceeded climate predictions for years now..enough that we should be alarmed. But these fruit loops are just going along for the ride because it sounds like fun, and they like the idea of doing something important. The way the Left has been bonding disparate causes like climate change, the war in Gaza, and LQBTQ ideology alienate people and is counter-productive.
I hope you don't believe any nonsense about the Earth being round. What evidence do personally have? Its obviously flat. Scientists are all on a payroll.
There is no climate apocalypse, and new technology for increasingly cleaner fuel burning is our best option. Every Act of Vandalism that these fools commit needs to be punished severely, and publicly, as they are clearly just unbridled narcissists. Is this what the world gets for legalizing pot? Nice work Ben.
There are issues to be discussed, but maybe not in this article, which appears to be just for fun and an incidental read/listen. I felt my age watching by constantly getting deja vu of Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson, and Peter Fonda talking around the campfire in Easy Rider. Social history also repeats itself.
Not surprised they wouldn't talk at the museum. I had the same experience 30 years ago as a grad student going to PETA meetings with another student and questioning their stances. After about 2 meetings they asked us, nicely, not to return as they didn't want to discuss things.
I rarely use the word "sleazy." But there's no wannabe-journalistic practice easier than smearing a legitimate political position--that carbon-fueled global warming is a very serious problem and deserves thoughtful, concerted action--by mocking its looniest representatives. Kawaller's got a schtick; I'll grant him that. But the entertainment he provides, grounded in overweening disdain masked by blithe "curiosity," is ultimately a kind of junk food--empty calories confected of crunch and salt. The best of TFP is much better than this.
It's always fascinating when people dive headfirst into a countercultural movement, only to reveal upon closer inspection, that they don’t really buy into the hype. It’s as if they’re more interested in the sense of belonging than the actual cause itself. They latch onto anything that sounds noble and grand, more for the camaraderie than the conviction. It’s like joining a circus not because you love the show, but because you crave the colorful company and the thrill of being part of something, even if it’s a bit of a charade.
Peer-reviewed study in the last issue of Current Psychology--environmental activists showed high correlations with psychopathy. Makes perfect sense.
Next time they glue themselves to the roads, leave them

The hubris of the lunatic left is boundless.
I believe little by little it will be quite hard fir Ben to pull the Biden lever.

Have we been seeing more unusual weather events really? Or are they just reported on and hyped by the media more.
Also up to about 150 years or so , temperatures and storms were not recorded.

I absolutely adore Ben's video interviews.

Ben - you are doing a wonderful community service. These people are drunk, drugged or deranged.
I hope we can return to the days where we can simply say what's obvious: these people are unhinged and mentally ill.
Those days are now: these people are unhinged and mentally ill. And they have all probably voted for Democrats.
The Democratic Party of America, DELENDA EST!

"Carbon Fueled Global Warming" has been hijacked by activists who are so radicalized and unhinged that they can't be taken seriously.
Also, Michigan was under 2 miles of ice relatively recently. I'm pretty sure that my pickup truck had nothing to do with those glaciers melting.
I don't know what drugs afghan man was on, but I want some.
Ben, you are hilarious.

100%. All of my "hippie" friends are upper crust whites who just wanted to join a club.
Dave...you may want to lay off your friends' weed...as you're starting to repeat yourself. ;-)
