Hinkle and Laskaris are influencers almost certainly paid by Iran and Russia. They don't have a political philosophy of any kind, and neither is bright enough to even articulate something that could be passable as a political philosophy. Laskaris is actually so dumb that he once proudly showed off how Korea supports Hamas, while tweeting a photo of Kim Jong-un of North Korea. The only other high-profile dummy I have ever seen do that was a student at NYU profiled in the New York Post several months ago.
On articles like this, I kick myself when I think that I actually paid for a subscription. This is not a newspaper, it's like being in a strange Starbucks where you can see what all the weirdos are typing into their slack accounts...
Why is the author triggered by the idea of banning Antifa terrorism? She places this in quotes? I assume from her words that she thinks this is a silly idea. I suppose she thinks calling Antifa “terrorists” is just rude right wing, MAGA propaganda. Remarkable to see.
I don't think your argument for a connection between these commies and MAGA is very compelling Julia--or even apparent. If you hadn't put MAGA in the title of the piece, I would not have found it anywhere in your text. Re-write!
The Communist Party is the product of extreme opposition to its own system and civilization. They will label their own system as "capitalism" and then criticize it with Marxist clichés and mobilize the people. Even in China, where private property is completely unprotected and the government is promoting the personality cult of Xi Jinping, there are still a group of people who call for the overthrow of the current "neoliberal" CCP government under the banner of reviving Maoism.
What garbage. Why is this allowed to be on the FP? This is not serious thought or journalism.

Ridiculous profile of fringe "influencers". Communism needs no qualifier... it just IS.
Why does a 24-year-old " right wing influencer", or even a 24-year-old "left wing influencer" get headlines in The Free Press?
Except for the subsidized gym memberships, I don't see anything in the platform that Stalin would be uncomfortable with.

Not to give away my age, but I am introducing a constitutional amendment that bans taxation for anyone over the age of 65.
Ha ha! Jokes on us. We're it.

Zionists have been hoarding gym memberships for too long. Thank you for your important work in bringing this to light.
Kevin, Your comment literally made me laugh out loud. Bless you.

There are fringes everywhere. We need to stop highlighting them. They are unimportant and need to be ignored. This article is misleading.
Totallly agree. Now that they’ve been mentioned once in this digital era, they now exist in perpetuity.
Is it just me, or does the background music for the video sound like the old hymn, "Jesus Loves the Little Children"?
I thought I was crazy. What the heck?!!?!
This is just crap , common FP do better !
This whole writeup looks like Russian Collusion 2.0.
A very insightful observation.
