Where do we get such warriors? This is worth watching with your kids... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvKo6SK-Jwc or reading with your kids.. https://www.legion.org/magazine/101297/six-seconds-live

My son gets his Green Beret June 6th. It is so bittersweet. We are so so proud. We could never stand in his way. We never speak of the risk. We say it with every good bye hug being held a little longer.

I have nothing but respect to our US forces and heroes who supported the national Mission in Afghanistan and campaigns elsewhere, past and present, the fallen and the living. In addition to the American heroes, there are Afghan Heroes who still remain behind in Afghanistan in the aftermath of the failed experiment. Afghans who risked their lives in a UN-led, US-supported Peace Program disarming and reintegrating tens of thousands of insurgent combatants remain trapped; how many lives they saved by doing this, including US soldier’s lives, will never be known. Even though they applied in 2021 for the US P-2 Visa program they qualify for, many have heard nothing from the Department of State since their applications were submitted to the USG years ago in 2021.

Two families lost loved ones. Young lives were cut short before they could fulfill their promise.again the young are sacrificed on the altar of security. And yet there are those who can’t get past their hatred of the other to make political hay of this tragedy. Please people. Don’t demean their sacrifice with your petty bigotry. Honor their sense of duty.

Hahahaha!! What have I wailed about? What exactly has Biden done that makes you so unhappy? I'm not happy that this is our choice but it is. Can't wait for Trump part 2. He'll probably start the public executions on day one because "he's a whiny little bitch." Thank you Bill Maher! So when I lived under The Tudors....

I'm not British. Lol

I didn't say it wasn't poorly executed. And of course I feel for the Dad of a fallen soldier. I just wish we could have one day where we come together as Americans. Instead we have a never ending circular firing squad. The purity tests on BOTH sides have become ridiculous and will eventually sink us. If most Americans can't or won't see this than it's pretty easy to see where we are headed.

Wow. How to not listen to an adult conversation 101. Eye roll and yawn is why this country has so many problems. How often do you converse with people who don't 100% agree with you? My guess is never. Go outside and talk to a few people. I'm insulting? Do you eye roll in your daily interactions or do you actually engage in conversation? An eye roll during a serious conversation with a native of NYC would just tell me you have nothing interesting to say. It would also be incredibly rude. Try it the next time you're in the area. That laughter you hear is your stupidity being exposed. Yawn. Lol.

"According to a 2022 Quinnipiac poll, only 55 percent of Americans say they would stay and fight if the U.S. were invaded." And the poll shows most of the fighting people are Republicans.

Bless the families of these fallen soldiers as they continue to grieve. I appreciate them for raising people who knew the pride serving our nation can bring.

The young lady in Jordan was undoubtedly killed by the Iranians, the Democrat client state.

That’s what you get.

I don't want to see any of our guy's dead in a war we're not prepared to win. I've lost friends in S E Asia and kid's I knew in our neighborhood that never made it back.

The worst part is ,we're fighting for other countries and buying their supplies while our enemies are coming in here daily unchecked and nobody know's where they are.

Everyone in D C should be fired and charged with treason.

A bit hard to recruit folks when the folks in DC who have never heard a bullet fire pull the punch time after time and sellout the kids. Never enter war lightly or with anything except sadness then know there is in war no substitute for victory. Or leave our kids home until better leaders appear.

Better troops than leaders for awhile

I was raised to love our country. I still feel the hair on my arms raise and choke up whenever I hear the Star Spangled Banner. With all of its warts and lesions, it is still the best pace in the world to live. And thrive. It presents opportunities that no other country can offer. It allows bootstraps to exist! Anybody can use them. Yes, America still has heroes, and still has people who love this country no matter what the miscreants and naysayers may rant about.
