Alon’s beautiful interpretation makes plain the depth and sensitivity of his soul. Thank you for reminding us of the unique spark that is within Alon, as well as the other hostages. May they return to their loving families soon.

Thank you for including the clip of Alon playing that beautiful piece. Just as his family is keeping his former life waiting for him, it is good to think of him in the before-time.

The shelter/abduction clips are nauseating/infuriating to watch, and important to watch, but it is important to also see Alon in his free life. His life is not just this horrible year. I pray that he returns to his family and friends soon and both he and his family begin the healing process.

Thank you. I have no more words. My only hope is that Alon, and all the hostages, are rescued, that Hamas is obliterated and that we can all rebuild our lives in some way. Your strength and your resilience is truly super-human. May Hashem protect you and your family. Am Yisroel Chai.

It's hard to comprehend that there is such cruelty in the world. But not at all hard to comprehend the strength of a mother's love. My heart breaks for you and your family. I will pray for you and Alon and all those who have suffered at the hands of the barbarian terrorists. My husband plays the piano and I will think of Alon when he plays.

Shalom Idit, I'm a good friend of Alon's aunt Nirit. Thank you for sharing your words here. I don't know Alon personally but I feel like I do. His musical sensibility is amazing, and your strength and courage are truly inspiring, although I'm sure you would rather have Alon back than be inspiring. My wife Shira and I send you a strong hug and we pray for Alon's safe and swift return.

This is absolutely beautiful. Love of life by this woman and her son and family. Israelis love life. Alon’s friends who brought you the key to the apartment are amazing. And so are you. I hope to meet you and your family on my next trip to Israel. Praying for all of you.
